A wash fishing session with Chris in overcast conditions with a mid afternoon high promised to look the goods , the swell was down a fair bit, so moving around was the order of the day, with the wash conditions changing by the hour.
The big black drummer had the better of us , after a couple of epic smokings on 30lb gear , we ended up with a brace of fish to about 2.5kg, groper and the token bait stealing bream, of which there is a stack about at the moment.
The quality of the fishing is remarkable this late into the season, whereas usually it’s starting to tail off, it’s still going strong with solid fish taken every trip.
